BHEL 500 Engineers Jobs through GATE 2013

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) invites applications fpr a challenging and rewarding career to young and dynamic graduates in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering to contribute  towards Nation building in the fields of Power, Industry, Transmission, Transportation and Non-conventional Energy.
Job Post: Engineer Trainee
Total Post: 500 (Mechanical=300,  Electrical =150, Electronics =50)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering /Technology or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical /Electrical /Electronics Engineering. OR Engineering Degrees obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
Pay Scale: Candidates joining BHEL as Engineer Trainees will undergo training for one year.  During training, basic pay of Rs.20600/- in the scale of pay of Rs.20600-46500/- will be paid. After successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed as Engineers in the scale of pay of Rs.24900-50500/- with a basic pay of Rs.24900/-.
Age Limit : 27 Years as on 1st August 2013 (29 years  for candidates having two years’ full time Post Graduate in Engineering or Business Administration/Management.
Selection Process : Selection process will comprise of GATE 2013 Marks (out of 100) of the candidates in the concerned discipline & performance in Interview.
