Income Tax(IT) Department, New Delhi invites applications for the recruitment of meritorious Sports persons in different games/sports like Archery, Athletics, Badminton, basketball, Boxing, Chess, Cricket, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Tennis, Weight Lifting and Wrestling:
1. Inspector = 5 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.9300 – 34800/- + GP Rs.4600/-
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University
Age Limit : 18 – 27 years
2. Tax Assistant = 25 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University and having data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
Age Limit : 18 – 27 years
3. Stenographer Grade III = 7 Post
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
Qualification : 12th Pass or equivalent
Age Limit : 18 – 27 years
Sports eligibility: Sports persons having represented National or international Competition / Tournament in any of the following games / sports : Archery, Athletics, Badminton, basketball, Boxing, Chess, Cricket, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Tennis, Weight Lifting and Wrestling.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format. The application complete in all respects with necessary enclosures like attested copies of documents in support of Age, Qualification, Sports eligibility certificate, Caste certificate etc should be addressed to the Additional Commissioner of Income – Tax (Hqrs.Personnel), Room No. 378, C.R.Building, I.P.Estate, New Delhi – 110 002. The envelope must be superscribed as ” application for the post of Inspector / Tax Assistant / Stenographer GR III under sports Quota” (In capital letters), and with the name of Sport mentioned clearly.
